The course has been designed to build the capacities of ULB and state officials in the planning of faecal sludge and septage management. This course will introduce the target audience to components of FSSM planning starting with the approach and methodology for state and city level FSSM planning, aspects of FSSM, stakeholder engagement, treatment approaches financial aspects, and O&M mechanisms. This module is crucial for officials of cities to be able to achieve the objectives under SBM-U 2.0 and AMRUT 2.0.
