The ITCN Capacity Building Programme, anchored by the Inclusive Cities Center at NIUA, is a joint initiative of NIUA and BVLF that intends to build the capacity of government actors in formulating young children and caregivers-centric city policies and aligned programmatic interventions in India based on the Urban95 philosophy. The trainig is divided into 3 level of course-Orientation, Operational and Implementation level. The operational level of course gives an introduction to data driven planning, ITC centric data dashboard, designing public spaces & streets and proximity of care concept for ITCs. The course targets on operationalization and institutionalization of data and information systems in ULBs to inform decision making related to ITC. In addition, the course also provides several implementation tools for implementation of ITC centric projects. The course provides a concise learning of resources using the help of infographics highlighting the focus group - Infants, toddlers, young-children, caregivers including pregnant women. The training modules are developed by CEPT-Research and Development Foundation with support from NIUA and BvLF team. The training delivery agencies under the Progrmame include All India Institute of Local Self Government, Mumbai; Centre for Good Governance, Dr. R. S. Tolia Uttarakhand Academy of Administration, Nainital; Engineering Staff College of India, Hyderabad; Kerala Institute of Local Administration, Thrissur; and Regional Centre for Urban and Environmental Studies, Lucknow.
