National Institute of Urban Affairs in partnership with Omidyar Network India and Treemouse has developed case studies highlighting the journey of award-winning e-governance solutions. The course presents best practices followed by ULBs in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh. The intent of the course is to highlight the journey of e-governance solutions right from conceptualization to implementation. The course focuses on the following key themes: 1/ Building internal capacity to develop e-governance solutions 2/ Designing for universal access coverage of e-governance solutions 3/ Building scalable participatory citizen-centric approaches for e-governance solutions 4/ Reimagining the role of incentives to enhance uptake of e-governance solutions The course not only focuses on technical knowledge but provides the learners with actionable directions on how they can implement some of the strategies used by the award-winning ULBs. The learners will find bite-sized videos, toolkits that focus on ‘how-to’ guides, and further reference material. We have designed this course for someone who is managing or leading a team of ULB officials or who is willing to explore how to drive change at ULBs.
