The training on, ‘electrical energy derived from renewable resources’ aligned to the energy thematic area of the Climate Smart Cities Assessment Framework. The training in further units will cover different types of renewable energy and then dive deeper into the rooftop solar segment of renewable energy further units. In Introduction you will learn the different types of renewable energy are solar, wind, hydro, geothermal and biomass. Adopting more of such renewable energy is important to reduce the burning of fossil fuels that contribute to climate change.
