This unit is an introduction to the training on Proportion of Green Cover aligned to Urban Planning, Green Cover & Biodiversity thematic area of the ClimateSmart Cities Assessment Framework. The introduction of green cover unit covers the understanding of what in the city is considered as green. How the distribution, accessibility and hierarchy of green cover plays a significant role in improving the quality of lives and reducing urban heat island.
