This unit is an introduction to the training session on Urban Biodiversity aligned to Urban Planning, Green Cover & Biodiversity thematic area of the Climate Smart Cities Assessment Framework. The training in further units will cover the role, services and importance of urban biodiversity, institutional measures that are in place for biodiversity; method for preparation and implementation of local biodiversity plans and few case studies.
