This unit is an introduction to the the training on ‘Disaster Resilience’ aligned to Urban Planning, Green Cover & Biodiversity thematic area of the ClimateSmart Cities Assessment Framework. The training in further units covers the concept of disaster resilience, disaster risk reduction fundamentals, global and national policy frameworks, institutional arrangements, and strategies to build disaster resilience in cities.
