This unit is an introduction to the training on, ‘Water Resources Management’ aligned to the Water Management thematic area of the Climate Smart Cities Assessment Framework. In this training going further, we will learn the impacts of urbanisation and climate change on the availability and quality of water resources in urban areas. Strategies for water resources management and components of a water resource management plan incorporating climate impact scenarios are also covered.
