This sssion covers the development of fundamental understand the concept of spatial thinking, utilisation of GIS and Remote sensing, understand the potential of spatial data visualisation and map-making and explore how one can handle vector datasets. At the end of the sessions participants will be able to identify and differentiate between vector and raster data and their formats. In addition, participants will be explored to open-sources datasets, both raster and vector, how to source and use them.
