The GWSCCL awarded the biomining project at Rampur dumpsite to M/s. Leap Ecotec Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and its partners. Commissioned on December 20, 2021, it includes three biomining machines processing 1,500-1,800 MT of waste daily. Waste is loosened, treated with bio-culture spray, and fed into trommel screens for segregation. Outputs include Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), recyclables, inert materials, and compost, with air density separators enhancing RDF segregation for sustainability.
