A strong anti-harassment policy with clear reporting channels, confidentiality, and swift redressal is essential. Regular gender-sensitization workshops and bystander training help build a respectful culture. On the ground, models like Telangana’s She Teams and Madhya Pradesh’s Safe Tourism Zones show how patrols, CCTV, and SOS systems can deter harassment. Setting up internal safety cells, partnering with local police, and ensuring well-lit, secure workspaces can make a real difference. Empowering women starts with listening—and acting—where it matters most: in policy, in practice, and in everyday spaces.
